3D model description

Clip on to common drum hoops for recording close microphones on toms or snare.
The thin spring section allows the clip to be compliant when installing or removing.
Can be attached to a 3/8"-16 thread microphone holder with the included screw.

3D printing settings

If the spring section is too thin for your material, increase the horizontal expansion value in your slicer.

Print laying on side.
Material: ASA is my material of choice. In order of preference, the next choices would be ABS, PLA, PETG. Polycarbonate (PC) or polypropylene (PP) would also work great but are less common.

0.2mm layer height with 0.4mm nozzle. Brim may be necessary depending on bed type.
Wall & top/bottom thickness: 0.8mm-1.2mm depending on stiffness of material.
Infill pattern: Triangles or grid, 20-40% density.
Support pattern: Zig-zag, 25% density
