3D model description
This is an add-on to a popular dimmer that is used to dim LED strips lights. In my case, the dimmer is mounted on the underside of a cabinet over a work surface. The power supply is located out of view on the topside of the cabinet. I wanted this enclosure for the wire connections to prevent accidentally bumping the wires when I blindly reach for the dimmer knob.
I added a rigid spiral conduit to run the cables back to the rear underside of the cabinet. I could have alternately used common wire clamps nailed to the cabinet, but I think that this will look more interesting. If I want to add more cabling later, I can use the spiral opening to spin in the new cable.
The length of the conduit is 27cm. The outer diameter is 2cm.
3D printing settings
I used PLA.
