I really liked the original remix that added holes for use with T-nuts (see Thingiverse) but there's little chance of buying hockey pucks in the UK. I thought I'd try an alternative foot attachment using a 'button' made of TPU in a specially designed holder.
There's little to add in the way of printing hints: use your favourite material for the attachment itself (I used eSun PLA+) and do whatever you think necessary to get a strong part. I used 3 walls, 3 top and bottom layers and 30% infill.
I used TPU for the button, again with 3 walls, 3 top and bottom layers, and 15% infill. I know that there are many grades and stiffnesses of TPU so you may have to alter these values to get a decent print with sufficient 'squishiness' to meet your needs.
I used strips of 3M double-sided tape to hold the buttons in place, simply because I had some available (it's very strong). A dab of glue is also likely to do the job.
The fixing screws are M4 x 12mm button-head hex socket.
