Now you can know how much filament did you use and know how much left.

1 kg of 1.75mm filament has about 335 meter ( 1 Meter is about 3 Grams) .

from cura you can know how many meter does the model need. So after each printing you add the value from cura to the value on the FMR. So you know exactly how many meter did you use from this spool and calculate how many meter left.
