FlyStrudy - a rubber band flying extruder
3D model description
This is my attempt to create a flying extruder for delta printers. I'm sorry I've no pictures to show yet, but will update soon.
The idea is to use rubber bands instead of a spring. this way you can regulate the force applied to the filament.
Print everything without supports.
1 x M3x6 (or similar)
3 x M3x25 (maybe you'll need washers)
1 x M5x20 + nut and washer.
1 x flat bearing 16x5x5.
I just fixed two files which resulted to be non-manifold.
I uploaded ver 0.5, but only Leva_A really changes. I fixed few minor things.
I've updated parts Leva_A, Leva_B and Uscita to ver1.0.
Levers are longer now to make the rubber bands stronger, and the exit hole is closer to the gear.
with this setup, and 4-5 long TPFE tube to the E3D, I could print a TPU phone case without issue at 50mm/s. Yes, that's not very exciting, but it works!
