3D model description

A cool wall mount for filament. Can be mounted with 4 or 6 screws and holds a lot of weight. Prints supportless. Ideal tube diameter is 22mm, but a bit smaller or bigger wil fit as well. Don’t forget to “Like” and leave a comment. Tell your friends about this design if you’r happy with it.

3D printing settings

Since there was no proper way to store my filament, I designed an industrial looking wall mount.

Have fun with my designs. I am an industrial designer and animator working in 3D (for TV and B2B) for 20 years. I only upload a design if it works and has been tested thoroughly. Sometimes it takes many prototype prints before I am satisfied with my product. So all of my designs are 100% tested and printable on any 3D printer. I don't like support structures. So most designs can be printed without support. If you have any suggestions on existing designs or idea's for future designs feel free to contact me.

What size screws should I use for this?

Hi
I downloaded the Filament wall mounts, left and right. The first time I 3D printed them they printed beautifully. Thank you so much for these beautiful wall mounts. Our PLA looks great!
When I tried to printing the wall mounts a second time, the right mount it did not print as well. The section where the pipe rests was warped and it did not print the actual depth of the groove, sort of like halfway of the actual depth. I cannot add a buildplate adhesion in Cura since when I add it I get this message "None of the models fit the build volume".
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you,
Reyce Krause
