3D model description

Despite all the storage boxes to fit under the Ender 3, I couldn't find one big enough to put the spatula in.

So I created this new version to have a storage area big enough to put the spatula, and many other things.

This model is compatible with:

  • For the Ender 3 print at 100%.

  • For Ender 3 PRO print 100% lengthwise and heightwise and 91.3% widthwise

(See images for more details)

Also, for assembly, only the screen needs to be disassembled, no need to disassemble the tray belt tensioner. :)

Just push it into the rails until it stops (directly included in the model and allows room for cables and cable clips.

Once in stop, the screws of the belt tensioner are thus hidden and also serve to keep it in place.

The assembly is mounted with friction on the rails so that there is no vibration during printing.

PS:

-The STL file that is provided is WITHOUT my logo on the front.

-Thanks to jeremyxlewis13 for testing the compatibility on the Ender 3 PRO

3D printing settings

I printed this model on the ENDER 3 with the following parameters:

I cut the model under CURA with the basic parameter "Standard quality - 0.2 mm"

I just modified :

Support enabled everywhere

Print speed 60mm/s

adhesion: none

Filament: PLA Ø1.75mm

Nozzle: Ø0.4mm

If you have filaments and small pieces of thread that appear during printing, it's normal, it's one of the supports generated by CURA that has not adhered well. it does not change anything to the model, the result is PERFECT. :)

  • 3D file format: STL

Bonjour,

Thank you very much jeremyxlewis13 for the compatibility test on the Ender 3 pro.
Thanks to you, I added on the description the detail about how to print this model to be compatible with the Ender 3 Pro.

Thank you AGAIN :D

Vraiment Top je l'utilise depuis 1mois il va vraimernt bien un des rare ue je ne fini pas par demonter celui la je le garde!

Happy to report that the 91.3% reduction on the width did work!

Hello jeremyxlewis13,

Effectively, this box is created ONLY for the Ender 3.

I checked on the a 3D of Ender 3 and Ender 3 pro :

In Ender 3 : The space between both aluminium profile is 115mm

In Ender 3 Pro : The space between both aluminium profile is 105mm

Maybe with a ratio on Ender 3 box of 91.3 following width direction ONLY, the box should be adapted for Ender 3 pro because the rest of dimensions are similar.
BUT I CAN'T GUARANTI THAT IT WILL WORK.

If you try it. keep me informed.

Thank you for your remark.

Update I printed this at 100% and it seems to be 10mm to wide for my of the Ender 3 Pro. I guess this is for the Ender 3 not the pro as the title states.... oops

Hello jeremyxlewis13,
I used CURA, and for the parameter Adhesion, you must have nothing. in this condition, you can print it without any issue.

how did you get it to fit the build volume?
