This is a little clamping bracket I designed in order to mount an E3D all metal hotend to my Zonestar printer which has a sheet metal hot end carriage.
To mount, print just the first layer and use it as a template to mark out the mounting holes on the top of the carriage. Centre punch and drill out to 3.6 - 4.0mm (and expand the centre hole to 10mm).
Press hot end heatsink flange into the clamp and tighten with two 3mm grub screws.
Screw in place with three small coarse screws or M4 machine screws.
PLA is not suitable for high temp application.
Recommend PETG, ASA or ABS. Nylon or PC if you're fancy.
Level your bed or the mating surface will be warped.
Layer height 0.1 - 0.15mm
Brim width 10mm
Concentric top/bottom pattern
Zig zag support with 60% density
High infill density recommended, I used 50%
Approx 30x30x11mm, 30m-1h print time.
