I saw documentation of such shrouds put to good use to help the overall print quality. This is my take of the idea and is fully printable.
My first idea for this was a sort of origami print that was flat to begin and could be folded to the desired end shape. But, of course, why not just print that shape. So, I have printed this at .25mm as to keep the time down.
You may, I have not, run into a problem with the X-Endstop switch not engaging due to the extra thickness of the print. If this does occur, there are a couple things you can do. One, is to alter the thickness of the right wall. The second, is to pull the switch toward the center of the machine by a few millimeters. This should be done with a light hand.
