Rather than buying shims for the installation of my deck, I made 4mm, 5mm shims and a 3,4,5 and 6mm multi-sided shim.
Personally, I use 5mm spacers for the spacing of my terrace boards. I only needed 4 shims of 5mm for 4m boards.
