3D model description
I created this enclosure for Anycubic Mega Zero 2.0 so it can hold a Raspberry Pi 4 model B, and the motherboard.
THE MAIN COMPARTMENT:
It mounts to the frame with M4 T-nuts, so you will have to buy those. You can find them on Aliexpress. The model includes a power socket mount, so you can de-solder the socket from the motherboard and extend the wires.
For the Raspberry pi, there are 2 USB sockets available, and 1 power input. You can wire up all the GPIO pins on your raspberry with the right connector type.
THE MAIN COMPARTMENT LID:
There are 3 versions:
V1 = Motherboard Fan, Display Output, Power Switch
V2= Motherboard Fan, Raspberry Fan, Display Output, Power Switch
V2= Motherboard Fan, Raspberry Fan, Display Output, Power Switch
V3 = V2= Motherboard Fan, Raspberry Fan, Power Switch
THE DISPLAY:
The text on the front of the display can be changed. Just DM me and we can find a solution. The model version says "QUIZCEN".
The display gets mounted with 4 M3 bolts that go through the print and locks on the backside with M3 nuts. Length: 25-30mm.
The LCD is mounted to the front of the printer with 2-4 T-nuts. You mount the LCD main enclosure to the base plate with 3 M4x8mm bolts. You cannot use the original cable. you need this extended version: https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrcBEPc 10 pin - 20-30 cm
WIRING:
To wire up the raspberry to the Motherboard, simply pull a USB cable from the motherboard to the printer.
I added a relay to turn on/off light for my printer.
COMPONENTS:
Raspberry pi Fan 30x30 mm 5V
Motherboard Fan 40x40 mm 12V (use the original one)
6 T-nuts for M4 bolts
7 M4 8mm Bolts (main enclosure mount + LCD mount)
2 M4 6mm Bolts (display mount)
2 M3 12 mm Screws (lid mount)
If you wish to sell the file as a 3D print on Etsy etc., then you will have to have an active subscription from my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Quizcen
