Hi everyone!
This is my design for a tensioning system to make your Anet A8 frame a lot more rigid!
All you need to do is printing this files (2x Screw, 1xtensionerV2, 1xtensioner V2-2) and some thin metal wire (the one i used is 0.8 mm).
As soon as you mount the tensioning sistem you will notice a sensible decrease in vibration and noise.
Mounting instructions:
-Print the two tensioners and the two screws
-(optional) put some paper tape on the frame to make the tensioners adhere better
-snap the tensioners in place
-screw the "screw" in the tensioner nearly to the end
-insert the wire in the hole at the end of the screw, and in the big hole at the base of the frame, close the wire "belt" by wrapping around the two ends of the wire
-repeat everything for the other side
-gradually unscrew the screws until you can feel quite a lot of tension in the cables
in 5 minutes you're done!
