3D Printer Tool Holder V3.0

Did you 3D print this model?

3D model description

This is the latest version (12/19/2019) of my Tool holder for your 3D Printer station.

This version adds a better storage solution for your Caliper as well as new storage for SD cards and Micro-SD cards and additional wrench storage.

This is a simple print. In the image you will see that I used my label machine to put peel and stick numbers for my printer nozzles. I did not add them to the model because different users may want to organize their nozzles differently than I did.

This tool holder has storage for:

1 Slide Caliper 5 wrenches
2 bottles of Magigoo 4 flat wrenches (come with Creality printers)
1 crazy glue or similar 3 pen/pencils
1 de-burring tool 4 small screw drivers
1 Scraper 3 normal size screw drivers
7 SD Cards 4 Micro-SD Cards
1 set of standard 3D printer allen wrenches.
5 screw driver type allen wrenches
21 printer nozzles.
And the bottom space fits my level but you can put pens in there or small items.

UPDATE 2-9-2020: Added a slightly different version that can be printed on an Ender-3 size bed as the original version is 9mm too wide. Only slight changes.

3D printing settings

I printed mine with a .4mm nozzle at .2mm layer height. But you could and probably should use a larger nozzle (.6 or .8mm) and much taller layer height. This will get the job done much faster.

No raft or supports needed.

I added an Ender 3 friendly version for you. Only loses the hole that the Clear screw driver with the red bottom is in (see picture) and one nozzle.

Thanks for commenting on this so I could make it right for you.

Tony

I've printed this both on my Prusa MK3 and on my much larger CR-10. Looks like your only 9 mm too wide for the Ender 3. Let me see what I can do for you.

I purchased this to print on my Ender 3 Pro, however as I loaded it into Cura it seems to big for the print surface on the Ender 3. What was this printed on? Clearly, I can't scale this in the slicer since it will screw up all the sizes of the openings. Do you have one that will fit on the Ender 3 perhaps with less nozzles and tool slots?

If anyone has any questions please feel free to post them here and I'll see that they are answered. :)
