With this wooden mug design I wanted to solve the issue of not being able to drink straight from a printed mug (even though PLA should not be toxic, it would not be hygienic). A stainless steel inner lining is my take on this solution.

It's modelled to perfectly fit a 500ml steel cup that can be bought from eBay, AliExpress or similar.

The cup you want for this contains 500ml, measures 86mm diameter and is 125mm tall, that's what I have used. I have seen measurements to also show 88mm, but I believe they are all made the same, but I can't guarantee that!

The mug was also adapted to fit most common can sizes in case that is preferred! Also makes a good dice cup or a pencil organizer. In any case it will really set the mood on your table!

3D printing settings

No supports needed.

I would recommend 0.2 layer height, but 0.3 should work fine as well without much loss of details.

3 walls minimum to give it decent strength and 10-20% infill.
