Squid Air Plant Holder (FDM & SLA)

This is part of my series of nautical themed air plant holders. Similar to the Jellyfish, this Squid is designed to mount an air plant upside-down to provide the tentacles and complete the look.

Along with the Squid body there are two mounts (small and medium) to attach the air plant. All you have to do tie some fishing line to the appropriately sized mount, put some hot glue in the mount, attach the air plant and thread it through the cap.

The body is 10 cm tall and can accommodate air plants that have a base ~18 mm in diameter.

This model is perfectly suited for both FDM printing (with no support) and SLA printing (with minimal supports).
