3D model description

Inspired by woodworking item this box was created as CAD modeling self challenge and now shared with community.

3D printing settings

Removed MINI version for testprint and tune.

UPDATE 8/5

Reworked pins for better strength.

Updated files - Pin x3, Drawer (all versions) and Rolling Top.

UPDATE - Added Prusa Mini version (20% smaller).

I did not print this version myself so print on your own risk (should be fine though).

Please report for any issues.

Assembly is straight forward, easiest to assemble on one of the sides.

No gluing required, even though you may want to glue some parts - up to you.

IMPORTANT - All tolerances are very high to snap fit without glue! Printer must be properly calibrated for parts to fit.

Optionally you can print the drawer with 2 3 4 or 6 compartments.

For 2 compartments you need to print - ‘Drawer - 2-4c’ + ‘Divider - 2-3c’ + ‘Drawer Front - 2-4c’

For 3 compartments you need to print - ‘Drawer - 3-6c’ + ‘Divider - 2-3c’ x2 + ‘Drawer Front - 3-6c’

For 4 compartments you need to print - ‘Drawer - 2-4c’ + ‘Divider - 4-6cv’ + ‘Divider - 4ch’ ‘Drawer Front - 2-4c’

For 6 compartments you need to print - ‘Drawer - 3-6c’ + ‘Drawer Front - 3-6c’ + ‘Divider - 4-6cv x2’ + ‘Divider - 6cv’

Another option dividing top part to 2 compartments.

For this you need to print alternative Shelf Divided and Top Shelf Divider.

PLEASE REPORT ANY ISSUE DURING PRINTING OR ASSEMBLY I WILL BE GLAD TO HELP!

Nice model but does not fit my Ender 3 (which is probably most common size). I can of course print the Prusa mini version but was hoping to print a slightly larger to fit 220x220 bed. Would scaling up/down work?

Any advice for printing? Support needed?! Infill?!
Thanks for the model.

Could you possibly include a small cutout of the roll door section for people to test print and check whether their printer is tuned well enough to print it properly without killing an entire build plate of filament? Yes, I know we can easily clip it ourselves, but I don't know if everyone out there knows how to do that.
