3D model description
Clamps down in a 11mm groove of a 40x40 pv rail.
It has bidirectional mounting options for the cable and zip ties.
I printed mine with Spectrum ASA and they have been working flawless for the last 6 monts, but I will monitor as time continues.
I'm also grateful for any feedback to improve this product.
3D printing settings
Properties of the material must be:
- weather resistant
- UV resistant
- a bit flexible so that the clips don't just break
I've used ASA by Spectrum, but I think ABS will also work fine.
Make sure your printer is dialed in. Because of the tolerances it can be quite a tight fit and any blobs in the grooved area of the clamps can cause them not to fit properly into the rail.
