Cat-eating fish (Cat kennel)

Decorative, fun and original cat kennel.

Your cat will love to stay in the belly of the fish :)

Combination of two processes: 3D printing and digital milling (3 axes). No gluing is required, just a 6mm Hallen (hexagonal) wrench.

Format of the assembled fish :

• Length (overall): 94cm

• Width (excluding flipper): 52cm

• Height (overall): 57cm

3D Printing

The 3D printed parts are the eyes and knots that allow the assembly of the wooden plates.

There are three types of nodes:

Type 01: To be printed 6 times

Type 02: To be printed 5 times

Type 03: To be printed once

For the assembly of the nodes you will need screws and nuts:

• FHC countersunk hexagon socket screw 6x20

• Nut HU M6

Milling

Milling is the slightly more delicate part that must be done precisely for chamfers and notches.

In the file the different types of milling are arranged by layers. It is important to follow the order of the different milling operations.

• Chamfer (90° milling cutter diameter 30mm)

45° chamfer to a depth of 7mm.

• Pocket (Milling cutter diameter 6mm) machining depth 4.5mm

• Internal and external cutting (6mm milling cutter)

Choose a good plywood (7 ply) of 9mm.
