Mother's Day Hanging Sign

Happy Mother’s Day!
Print some cheer for the mothers in your life. Combined with the Hanging Holder Hook this is a terrific, fully 3D printed keepsake gift for Mother’s Day.

This is designed for four-color printing, but variations are possible with fewer colors. For example, keep the flowers the same color and use dual extrusion for the back then filament swap for the text on the top. A separate model for the back is included for two-color printing leaving the flowers as empty space (see photo). Or print with one color and decorate with marker, paint, or a 3D pen.

I created a textured look on my prints as shown in the photos. I used two solid bottom layers, two layers with 90% honeycomb infill, and no top layers. Models are 1 mm thick printed with 0.25 mm layer height.

Bonus! Models of back without hanging loop are also included. Make a sign that could stick to a wall or use adhesive magnets for different options.

Sign is approximately 211 x 150 (144 no hanging loop) x 2 mm (1 mm base + 1 mm text). All models are 1 mm thick. Note that the text model has its z-origin raised to 1 mm.

Align the model origins to have everything fit together properly then group items and move or rotate as needed to fit on print bed. I printed with 0.25 mm layer height and used infill for texture as described above.
