3D model description

Designed in France, this cat house is thought by designers to offer to your pet, its own cosy nest which will bring him comfort and safety during the long hours of rest which he needs. The first will of this kennel is to become a real decorative element for your home that will meet the needs of your pet.

This version of cat house additionally includes the files to print the ears.

To print this cat house to scale 1 in one go you can use a large volume printer like Creality CR10 5s or Tronxy X5 or Wanhao duplucator 9.

If you don't have a large format printer you can also print it in parts with a 200 x 200 x 200 mm print size printer and glue them together.

If you have a large format printer and print in several parts, you can even build a kennel that will be up to 1 meter wide by 80 cm high. Very large cats or even dogs will appreciate it.

If your pet is not very big, you can reduce the size of the print, however, we advise you not to reduce beyond 70% of the original size, in order to keep a sufficiently large opening. At 70% the entry will be 129 x 123 mm.

3D printing settings

This cat house can be printed in one piece or in several parts depending on the size of the printer you have. At scale 1, the dimensions are: a width and depth of 45cm and a height of 38.5 cm.

We get a very nice level of PLA finish with a layer height of 0.15mm, a shell thickness of 1.2mm and a 10% fill, without support.

For a better rendering and very good accuracy of assembly, we advise you to print the parts in the same position as on the STL file provided.

Regarding multi-part printing, depending on the size of your printer, you will probably need to rotate the part around the Z-axis so that it can fit entirely on the platen.

All files, to print in one piece or in multiple parts, are included in the download.

Hi, have you maybe considered making an optional rounded off version of the ears? As it is, the sharp edge concerns me a bit tbh.
