3D model description

A home automation security pack composed of a movement sensor and a magnetic sensor for doors and windows. The sensors are controlled by an Esp-01 (esp8266) that features wifi connectivity, and they send MQTT messages to a server that you can run on a Raspberry Pi like Home Assistant (Hassio). In order to assemble the sensors, you will have to connect the infrared sensor and the magnetic switch to the ESP01s and, after uploading the codes to the microcontrollers, you can mount them into the cases. You can find the code to upload to the ESP01s in the link below.

For this project you will need:

  • M3 screws;
  • M4 Hex head bolt and nut;
  • 2x ESP01 (one for each sensor);
  • HC-SR501 PIR Infrared Sensor;
  • Magnetic switches;
  • 6x4 magnet;

3D printing settings

You can print all the files with a 0.1mm to 0.2mm layer height, 2-3 perimeters, and 30%-50% infill; you don't need to enable the supports.
