Here's another addition to the fairy house collection! Great for your landscaping, large flower pots, or even in your vegetable garden!
This model is super easy to print and requires NO supports.
The model is multipart, so NO need for a multicolor printer. Any printer can do it.
All parts (no matter which option you choose) are printable without supports.
The assembly is really easy, using small amount of glue.
The model can be scale to any size, but the original size is the smallest one i have tested without loosing details. So its possible to scale it up with no proble, but scaling it down may cause some issues.
FOR THE LEAVES: They are flat when printed. Use a little bit of heat (i.e. heatgun) to slightly bend them at the angle you want. You need to print 5 of them. To assemble them you may need a bit of practice but it is still really easy. When joined together, the base of the leaves will form a circle. Make a few dry fit tests (without glue) to see if they are bent correcly and where you want each leaves. What i did on my side, is to put all 5 leaves in place, arrange the orientation by bending/rotating them in the carrot body, and then drop a bit of glue in the center to hold them in place.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE CHIMNEY: Make a dry fit check before assembling everything together!!! Put the chimney base in place on the carrot body (the base has a specific orientation, look at the dimples)
Next. insert the elbow and the chimney, make sur everyting is correctly oriented and then glue all the parts!
Detailed instructions are also included in the form of exploded views.
You will find in the files a ground spike. Because this model is higher than the two others, a ground spike is included to prevent the house from falling on its side. You can use it without gluing it! Simply push it in the ground and put the house on it. This way, if you wanna change the house location and can't use the spike (like on a stump or a rock) your gonna be glad you didnt glue it!
Again, if you have any problem or suggestions, feel free to send me a private message!
Have fun my friends! Hope you like it!
