Like the Dimmable Night Light this desk lamp is lit by the small and economical Ledberg Spotlight from IKEA. The construction allows for a pretty wide reach. In this case you need to weight the foot with some heavy stuff. I did use an iron bar I found in my workshop. To get the switch in a good position I removed the plastic cover from the switch and milled a applicable pocket.
My build was done from 6,5 mm beech plywood and some 4 mm high density fiber using a desktop cnc-machine by Stepcraft. The 'arm' needs to be cut twice from the high density fiber.

I am using a rigid hobby cnc-machine to create useful and/or beautiful things. My main intend is the search on interesting designs that make the most out of a given material while taking short machine-time.
