Cat Exercise Wheel

I designed this cat wheel for my very spoiled cats to run on. :-) I made an impulse purchase of a 3D printer last year (without researching how much there is to learn,) and quickly decided it would be a fun challenge to design and print a cat wheel!

My printer is an Ender 3 so I had to design it all to be able to print on a small printer with a build area of 8.7 x 8.7 x 9.8" (220x220x250mm). Some of the pieces take up the entire build plate (the base corners), so I do not recommend trying to print this on a smaller printer. The final wheel measures 4' wide and 4'4" tall. There are 8 different STLs included (plus a little wrench tool I made for the walkway bolts.) I started with using the printed walkway bolts because I wanted to print as much as possible on this wheel but ended up switching them to metal ones to keep the wheel pulled tighter. Either work but the metal ones are also quieter.
