3D model description
I found lots of tiny ants inside one of my beehives, they came marching up one of the corners of the hive where it rested on the support rack. To stop them, I designed this two-part stand where the lower part is filled with vegetable oil, creating a tiny moat which the ants (hopefully) can't cross.
3D printing settings
Since ants aren't picky about finish, I printed with .5 mm layer thickness. I filled the tiny moat with acetone (its ABS, obviously) for 30 secs just to make sure any leaks were clogged up.
