ok slicing with extrusion widths of 500, 550 and 600um all yield 2 shell thickness on springs, will try and print at 500um.

I wonder what extrusion size this is optimized for? sliced at extrusion width of 400 um and the spring has zigzag in walls since the thickness is not an even multiplier of 0.4mm. I will post more if I figure it out.
