Warrior - 1/72 Infantry Fighting Vehicle

The warrior was a replacement vehicle for the outdated FV430 "Bulldog" APCs. The warrior was designed to be able to keep up with the Challenger 1 main battle tank, as well as adding a turret with an onboard 30mm cannon. This model seeks to accurately represent this vehicle with an amount of detail that allows for effective resin printing without sacrificing accuracy.

While the file is set to 1/72 scale, this model can be scaled to any desired size. The model comes in four parts, the hull, turret, and both tracks. The turret is able to be posed as desired. Additionally, this model is hollow to reduce resin consumption during the print as well as reduce the risk of plate delamination.

The file was test printed on the Anycubic Mono 4k, smaller printers may have trouble filling the hull without printing it at a steep angle, which increases print time. The turret+gun part should be printed such that the gun is almost parallel to the print axis so that minimal supports can be used. The cannon is flimsy so care must be taken not to over-stress the part, though the flexibility in some resins does allow the gun to deflect and bounce back rather than simply snapping. The print on the Mono 4k took approximately 6 hours.
