3D model description

This is a steering wheel model keychain, able to spin left and right (recommended maximum 90 degrees each way).

There are 2 steering wheel models available (BMW and Mercedes look alike).

TIPS:
- I recommend printing the axle at 0.1mm layer height, and 10 degrees lower than your usual prints, and using a raft.

  • The steering wheel can be printed at 0.1mm layer height and 6 top layers, for best results.

  • You might need superglue to stick the steering wheel to the axle and axle to the coils, so that the assembly is more sturdy (to remove play as much as possible, depending on the printer's tolerances).

  • Total printing time is around 2 hours.

3D printing settings

Material: PLA
Layer height: 0.2mm (0.1mm for the steering wheel and for the axle)
Support: raft for the axle, no support for the rest of the parts is needed
