StarPorts - Stackable Tactic-L Spay-S Marr-ENs (Supported)

A slightly unhinged reworking of Moonjammy's excellent design, optimised for crazy printing!

A new concept for creating simple, stackable supports for Epic scale infantry! Create blocks of infantry in any arbitrary width and height simply by copying strips in Lychee and moving them vertically, no additional fine-tuning required!

ARE STACKABLE SUPPORTS RIGHT FOR ME?

Stackable supports are resin-inefficient compared with printing a single squad flat on the build plate, but time and clean-up efficient, allowing you to print large numbers of troops in a single print without having to get up to scrape them off the build plate, clean up, and restart your print every hour!

Stackable supports also allow you to make effective use of empty space on your build plate when printing larger vehicles or 28mm scale models. Just create a stack as tall as your other models!

UH OH, THIS LOOKS COMPLICATED! IS REMOVING THE SUPPORTS HARD?

De-supporting these is easy and risk free!
The heavy supports only make contact with the pseudo-rafts so you can yank them off without any worries. Then just use a knife tip or tweezer to pick off the remaining supports on the individual models.

I THINK MARK 2s ARE STUPID! ARE YOU GOING TO SUPPORT OTHER TYPES OF INFANTRY?

Probably! Eventually! But until I get round to it, feel free to try this style of supporting on your own models 😁
