3D model description
Caesar's cipher wheel:
This object makes it possible to compare the letters of two series of alphabets, with an adjustable shift in the order of the letters between the two series.
So that you see all the letter equivalences to encode your "secret" message, or decode it more easily.
The central wheel is lifted by its axis, turned, and then, when the chosen letters are well aligned, the magnets bring the two parts closer together and the wheel no longer turns on its own.
If at first it's itchy, a little running-in will fix it.
-You need 5 nylon screws and their nuts; diameter 3 or 4 mm...
If you hesitate, it is better to take longer and cut to the right length. With 30mm Screws or other for example.
You need two neodymium magnets (see last two pictures).
I measured less than about 12.5mm in diameter x 3.7mm thick on mine, I assume they are magnets sold as 12x3.
They must be pushed without shock, but firmly with a wooden rod (pencil, brush) to get them into their housing.
You will present the poles in attraction to each other for assembly.
If you find neodymium magnets that are round and smaller in size, chances are that the fact that they don't clip on is not a problem, as they will stay in place by being attracted to each other. At worst, drown them in cyanoacrylate or hot glue.
3D printing settings
Normal or fine quality gives better results than coarse quality.
The "fon" and "brid" parts must have supports.
If you are making bridges, then brackets are optional on the "rou" part.
