UPDATE: As requested, a charging port for the controller has been added! Currently only tested for fit with official cable only, other cables may or may not fit. If you have already purchased this, you can download the new version for free.

This a Switch Mount that allows you to use your Nintendo Switch on the go with an official Pro controller.

What sets this device apart from the others is the unique locking mechanism that allows for quick release of your Nintendo Switch and controller, avoiding heavy scratching to your devices.

Very easy to use, portable, and strong, but most importantly, very easy to print!

Does not need any non-3d printed parts, prints with VERY little supports, and it's very easy to assemble.

Will ONLY work with the official Pro Controller.

Anyway you can make a version that fits the Switch Lite?

The hole for the controller is there, it's just not in the pictures because only the STL files were updated.

kinda wish there was a hole for the Controller´s USB-C port+cable
so i can use like a USB-C to USB-C from controller to switch
why: so i can have switch in airplane mode and use this still and without having like a 2nd. controller in backbag be actived becuase the switch is in airplane mode

Sorry you're having trouble, these have been printed on dozens of Ender 3's and Prusa's and haven't had any of the problems you're mentioning.

I really like this model, but the tolerances are super tight. If you don't have a highly optimized machine you're going to need to shave down a lot of edges and corners to get the pieces to fit properly. Even then I don't think I got it working right. The locking pieces don't seem to fit in their slots completely and aren't actually doing anything, but it's sort of a moot point because the brackets are tight enough to hold with friction alone. I probably don't want to be shaking it around vigorously, but it's secure enough for casual gaming. Scaling some of the parts down a percent or two might be a quick and dirty fix, but I'm too lazy to reprint right now.

Pretty much all of my pins broke off when attaching the cover pieces, but nothing a dab of super glue couldn't fix. Just be careful not to glue them to the moving parts.

My print settings match the settings in the instructions, but my tolerances are way too tight, e.g., even without the locking pin installed, the bendy pin doesn't sit parallel with the inside walls when the clamp is inserted. The clamp itself bends the bendy pin out, which makes it so I can't push the locking pin down.

Any suggestions? Maybe scaling down the locking pin and clamp would fix it?

A controller charging port is possible and will be looking into it. To everyone else having the lock being kind of hard, please check out the manual regarding the wall/thickness section.


hiya ive had this print for about a week now, after much wearing in its pretty nice and not terribly hard to lock, my main question however, is if it would be possible to make a cutout for the charger for the pro controller?

Hi, is the clip you push in on the controller before you lock it supposed to be hard to push in? I just got done with the controller part of the print, and i had to press real hard and hold it in there to get the small tap over the bump to then press in the lock. Would it be possible if you could make a V2 of that controller "hook" bump a few millimeter longer in for it to more easily lock in place?
