3D model description

The first fully working and printable A320 Throttle Quadrant, for your favourite simulator! The quality you loved in the 737 TQ now gets even better with an rock solid design and increased realism.
This model can be easily printed with any 3D printer that has a build plate of, at least, 220X200mm. All the buttons and the levers you see in the photos are actually working. Detents are present for REV/IDLE/CL/FLX and TOGA points, in addiction the REV sector cannot be engaged if the handles are not lifted (as in a real A320).

Flaps and Spoiler levers can be attached to the main body for a more compact assembly or they can be placed anywhere in your cockpit with the extended plates provided.

Assembly is super easy too, with the instruction provided, all you have to do is: print all the files, follow very carefully the instruction, connect the potentiometer and buttons and fly.

You will need:
4x Linear Rotational Potentiometers
2x Red Buttons
2x Roller Lever Actuator Switches (Optionals and depend on your software)
1x Rotary Selector Switch
2x Toggle Switches
Some Springs
4x Ball Bearings 608
2x Ball Plungers (optionals, needed for detents)
1x Joystick USB Interface

1:1 Scale. Dimensions are the following:

•255X293X284 WXLXH, measurements are done with Flap and Spoilers attached and THR levers in vertical position.
•105X293X284 WXLXH, measurements are done without Flap and Spoilers attached and THR levers in vertical position.
•145X102X5 WXLXH are the dimensions of the extended Flaps/Spoilers plate.

3D printing settings

•Layer Height: 0.2mm-0.16mm (It’s really up to you).
•Infill: 20%-100% (Follow the attached BOM.pdf file in order to get the right percentage for each file).

Hey, when you purchase you get all STLs, you have a pdf on how to assemble, materials required with their dimensions and on prints settings. All materials needed are already in description except for screws.

I guess we have the STL, but does it have a tutorial on how to build everything ?
Does it have a precise list of material we need ? (like Potentiometers, switches etc)

@Simona350 I definitely suggest you to buy a 3D Printer rather than rely on 3rd party services. Their prices are ridiculously high and, nowadays that 3D printer are cheaper, it's a nonsense. The Creality you mentioned will perfectly serve the purpose, it is a really good printer!

Hey, thank you for the answer. One last thing, what is most profitable between buying a 3D printer and using online 3D printing services? (I am a newbie in 3D printing)
If buying a 3D printer is better, does the Comgrow Creality 3D will serve the purpose (is it enough large and accurate to make TQ work)?

Hi Simona350, since the model is actually made up of several files, it's really hard to estimate the price for having them printed. I Can tell you that you could expect around 1,5Kg of plastic... Hope this will help
