Print-in-Place New Routemaster Double Decker Bus

If you've ever seen pictures from London, you certainly know the big red buses that drive people around. These were the Routemasters. Since February 2012, the old icons were slowly replaced with this new, redesigned version that allowed easy wheelchair access and also complied with the latest EU requirements, such as Euro V for carbon emissions. The New Routemaster was designed by Thomas Heatherwick. This version was the last to feature a rear door and a large glass window wrapping around the staircase. The newer version, the Wright SRM, has lost the rear door and features a more traditional rear fascia.

This model prints all in one go with no supports or assembly required and features fully openable doors and spinning wheels, as well as a rotary bus stop panel featuring bus stop names from the famous Route 24.

The full-scale model will likely not fit most small buildplates due to the length of the model (265mm), so I've decided to split the model into two parts with a click connection, both of which are shorter than 160mm. This means that this model is now printable even on smaller printers, such as the Prusa Mini. The split version still offers all the features, so even if you have a big machine and just want to avoid printing overnight, you can use this model. :)
