3D model description

The zip file contains a .blend file that can be edited with Blender. The model comes prerigged to make posing easy. To add additional weapons just import what you need and parent the weapon to the palm bone of your choice. Example: Either delete, clear parent or hide the original Bolter. Import your weapon of choice and place it in the hand of the model where the natural grip would be. Then select the metarig, change to Pose Mode. Locate your import in the Scene Selection list, click on it. Then locate the small palm bone on the armature, while holding shift+click to select the bone. Then press ctrl+p to open “Set Parent To” window. Select “Bone”. Now the new weapon will follow the pose of the palm bone.

After you’re done posing export all the visible pieces as a single stl file. Import the stl into your favorite program to fix any errors. I had the most success with Windows 3D Builder. Repair any errors and slice with your preferred program.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work due to the foot and the shin meshes intersecting. Alas, time to learn blender properly I guess. :P

Click the foot in object mode. Shift click the bone. Switch to pose mode.

Control+P, select automatic weights.

Now when you move the toe bone the toe will deform to match the bone movement.

Love the model, what do you recommend for adding pose-ability for the toe? I see a bone in there, but it doesn't effect the toe at all. Only the bigger bone in the foot effects the whole foot.

Once again, model is AMAZING though :)

I’d suggest googling tutorials on posing in Blender. Posing by moving the bones is a pretty easy to do. While in pose mode just select the bone and then rotate the bone.

Sorry to ask but new to this, how do you alter the pose in blender?

This thing is phenomenal for use to create custom Primaris units, thanks!

If you would be willing to post the Terminator (or email) I would be deeply appreciative and willing to compensate you.

By any chance, do you have the Mark VII model? Thanks

The guardsmen/trench fighters won’t work as a simple poseable model. A lot of fixing of the mesh and adding all the detail parts are required to make a finished model.

wonderfull wor. Can you make the same thing with your guardsman model?
