3D model description
Some may be familiar with the game in the popular show, Westworld, but did you know it was based on an actual game?
Toymaker Charles Crandall invented the game "Pigs in Clover" in 1889. While he waited for his patent, competitors brought out very similar versions of the game. Eventually, Crandall's game, produced at his Waverly Toy Works, enjoyed great success and became something of a best-seller. But similarly-named games made by his competitors took away some of his profits. Pigs in Clover became the subject of political cartoons and rumor said that even President Harrison played the game. -- Museum of Play
