Built this for Halloween, a wrist mounted with controls.
motorized with a laser that shines through the barrels
while they rotate, giving a realistic affect. flash disperser
gives the affect of barrel flash, the hole acts as a tracer.
control arms for building left or right handed (or one of each)
rivets print at 15% infill to prevent breaking.

650nm 5mw laser dot diode module 5v
momentary mini tact tile push button switch
omron micro switch about 13 mm length
24-26 gauge wire and small heat shrink
AAA 12v battery holder + (6 batteries)
3) AG13 batteries
26 gauge wire
4 CR 2032 batteries
2 dual CR 2032 battery holders
solvent cement (Plexiglas glue)
Braided elastic 1/4"
2)small self tapping screws
heat shrink

Assembly Instructions
Preparing parts for assembly Read instruction before starting...
Solder or following items. see picture of completed items
2) 16" wires to mini tactile switch (2 terminals on same side)
2) 10" wires to omron micro switch terminals, C (common) and NO (normally open)
2) 6" wires to motor
2) 6" wires (red and blue) for small battery box connection (tin ends,make a flat coil)
use cellophane tape to hold wires place in. (I used a 1/2" strip of Mylar from a chip bag
laid in bottom of boxes for easy battery removal) insert batteries feed wires thru hole
Connect the CR 3032 battery boxes in series (red from one, black from the other together)
cover rivet set concave cover with aluminum foil (prevent sticking)

Start assembly by placing barrel in case half groves check for ease of rotation clean as necessary for smooth turning. push laser into case half (may need to be glued) slide motor onto holder wires first to lip, slide barrel onto shaft, place motor holder and barrel in groves glue holder only in place. Attach other case half and carefully glue together (Do Not get glue on barrel or grove) set aside.

Next attach straight arm to outside of gauntlet right side for right handed. opposite for left place rivet thru holes, carefully heat end with lighter, press concave side of rivet set onto heated end expanding and flatting it. repeat for other side thumb loop tactile into switch holder glue (super glue, E 6000, etc) in place feed wires thru tube attach switch cover , feed wires thru thumb loop arm tube, put recessed half of arm and holder together insert rivet thru holes push switch holder down tight and glue in place, glue handle to rivet and holder. attach other side the same.

Alignment and attachment of omron micro switch
(omron switches vary in hole spacing is why this was not added to model, view pictures)
Place switch with button in cam detente (white piece in picture ) of thumb arm on gauntlet hold in place and move arm up and down, cam should not touch switch only depress button with thumb arm and top of gauntlet parallel, move switch till center button touches detente, recheck clearance. mount switch with small self tapping screws (easiest to mark holes and make 2 starter holes first). feed 2 spare wires thru gauntlet tube from back, attach (strip wires and twist together) each to one pair of switch wires pull thru gauntlet tube

Finally assemble and wiring
Glue mini gun assembly to gauntlet with laser at top position. Feed wires thru holes battery boxes aligning holes between boxes Glue battery boxes together, glue assemble to right side of mini gun, small battery box should almost touch gauntlet. feed wires thru long box holes Connect red battery to red laser wire , connect a blue wire to a 16" wire from tactile switch, repeat use CR 3032 battery holders to power motor to determine motor direction. mark motor wire that is connected to red for clockwise direction. install battery holders in long battery box feed wires thru hole, (red and blue wires already run) Connect red to marked motor wire, other motor wire to 10" one micro switch wire, the other to black wire. snap on lids and end cap. Attach braided elastic to hooks place gauntlet on arm adjust elastic length for Fit attach to gauntlet. install barrel support and flash diffuser. Have Fun!

apply heat shrink to exposed wires as desired.
shorten wires as necessary during finally assy.
CR 3032 battery holders have on/off switches on top,
leave slack in wires for removal to change batteries.
motor turns slower under load.
a drop of vegetable oil can be used to lubricate barrel
