M6 Heavy Tank for Dust Warfare 1947

Far less refined than the M26 Pershing, the M6 nonetheless delivers thick armor and heavy firepower to the frontlines.

Primarily armed with a 76.2mm gun, this heavy tank has a co-axial 37mm gun instead of the usual machine gun, granting additional firepower against light/medium armor. Anti-infantry is instead provided with three .50 cal machine guns, a twin mounted in the bow and a single pintle mounted.

The M6A3 uses new technology to increase the vehicles lethality; A 180kW Phaser replaces the 76.2mm gun.

Field modifications first performed by USMC units have become more common as well, frequently replacing the co-axial 37mm with either a Napalm Thrower or an M1 Bazooka with modified exhaust piping to make it fireable from inside the turret.
