The Red Routemaster Bus is one of London's Iconic sights people relate too. In my model I have tried to incorporate as much detail as possible and still print support free, apart from the custom support I have built into the design which is easily removed from the underside and in the rear windows of the Bus.
For the best results for your Bus run slow, I did mine at 40mm/sec with 5mm of brim to add adhesion. Then sit back and watch the bus and all the detail grow ;-)
Print at 0.2 mm layer height, with 10% infill. This uses 85 g of filament and takes 411 minutes.
Hi I am Chris, married with 3 grown children. I spent 25 years in production engineering in a variety of industries. I became severely sight impaired 5 years ago so turned my hobby and love of 3d printing and 3d design into my business and passion.
Our products became so popular on Etsy, we opened our own website, Easton3d.com.
We have only ever used Felix printers for our FDM work & we now proudly resell Felixprinters & printing products in the UK. We sell our models all over the world.
I am hoping to add to my printer collection and build up my hub for an even wider range of printing services.
