3D model description

This is a simple bracket to put my printed 'saber on the wall. I used one inch acrylic rod for the blade but it works with the Force FX 'sabers from Hasbro or Master Replicas as well. It has a section for an LED and two button cell batteries to help light up the piercing. Though this is a work in progress the bracket is still usable as you can see in the pictures. I am making a couple of decorative caps (coming shortly) to cover the top and sides, hence it is a functional work in progress.

3D printing settings

Print off this bracket and my 'saber body from here:

Get some one inch acrylic rod for the blade and sand it to help defuse the light better.

Wrap some electrical tape around the end till it fits snug in the 'saber handle about two inches in.

Put your chosen LED electronics in the bracket and 'saber and slide it together.

Use the bracket to mark out the spacing and use two screws to mount the bracket in desired location.

Some suggestions, use it as a towel rack, stair rails or banisters, in the hall entrance, in your man cave, etc.
