3D model description

Bloodthirsters are the greatest and most exalted of Khorne's Daemons. These avatars of the blood god are rage incarnate; the deadliest combatants of all daemonkind. They have no aptitude for sorcery, for their master despises magic in all forms. Some may consider this a weakness, but it matters little to their berserk nature. Their single-minded drive for combat means they will not retreat if outnumbered; will not falter if wounded; and will fight to the very end.

These towering behemoths resemble the red horned devils depicted in many cultures throughout history and scripture. Their skin is the color of deeply coagulated blood. Their bodies covered with blackened steel and brass armor; ornamented with many of the blood god's sigils. Their legs are hairy and cloven; tipped with brass horseshoes. Their massive wings are tattered and rugged; often decorated with skulls to represent their many fallen foes. Their eyes glow with an unnatural bioluminescence, burning with rage.

In battle, they wield two weapons; a massive axe in one hand, and a flaming barbed whip in the other. Few mortals can hope to trade blows with a Bloodthirster in combat and live to tell the tale, and even fewer can best one.

3D printing settings

The file list has 5 greater-demons in different poses for variety. Each is armed with an Axe and Barbed whip, either tucked away on their belts or out in a striking motion.

Each is made for a 60x100mm Square Base or a 120x92mm Round Base.

Due to the massive volume each model will take up, their wings greatly enlarging the profile, each one has its wings separated from its body. It is highly recommended each be cut at the base of the wing to have them printed separately, so that it will adequately fit on the build-plate of choice.

The entire kit for Pose 1 is available pre-supported, and can be printed by those who have their own resin-based machines. The model shown in the gallery was printed on an Anycubic Photon Mono X, so a build volume of equivalent size will be required.

Whether they be miniatures for tabletop wargaming or large figurines for the shelf, 3D-Printing is my passion. I release nearly every print I do to the public, so please check the file list and see if there's anything you like.

NOTE: For anyone who is unfamiliar with 3D Manufacturing Format (.3mf) I recommend Microsoft 3D-Builder to open and modify them as needed. It's an incredibly useful program I use in almost every workflow I do.
