A set of pieces for playing Courier Chess on a 12x8 board. Courier chess was a medieval European chess variant. It was the first chess variant to feature the "courier" piece that now exists in modern chess as the bishop.

There are additional pieces with move sets not seen in modern chess:

Elephant: jumps over 1 square diagonally in any direction
Mann: moves like the king but cannot be put in check
Jester: moves like rook but only one square per turn
Queen: moves one square diagonally in any direction, also allowed to move into traditional opening before play begins (pictured)
Pawn: no en passant, no double jump first move except for traditional opening (pictured).
Pawn promotion: gains the same move set as the queen

Use the pawn_slotted.stl and slot_crown.stl for pawns. It's the best fitting system I came up with for pawn promotion.
