3D model description

Swing and Slide for toys with miniature characters.

My son has a Playmobil playground with slide and swing, but the problem is that he also has a little boy in a stroller and as he told me well: he is not allowed to go there because he is too small, it is dangerous for him!

So we had to find a solution, so here is a little slide and a little swing provided for the little boy :)

The slide is made of 3 parts to print flat, but beware, I didn't manage to orient them correctly:

  • Right side: flat with pins on top

  • left side: flat with pins on top => be careful to turn the piece over

  • slide: with standing supports as on the picture => it will be necessary to turn it over

To assemble, just fit the pins into the holes of the slide and use glue to hold it.

For the swing, there are 7 pieces to assemble (see photos in the exploded view).

  • Nacelle

  • Ropes to be printed 2 times

  • Top bars

  • Left and Right side bars

  • Floor

  • Print all parts flat

  • Use brackets for the basket (be careful when removing them not to break the lugs for the clips)

  • For the floor, I made a hollow underneath to try to gain material, but supports may be needed

For the assembly, I tried to make a clip system, but this one needs improvement, so I suggest using glue for the frame and the floor attachment.

For the frame, be careful, there are 2 lugs on the back of the top bar that allow you to orient the left and right side bars.

For the order of the assembly:

  • pass the ropes through the pivots of the top bar and then hang the basket by clipping the holes on the lugs. Depending on your print quality, a little re-cutting with a cutter will be necessary, but for my part, I didn't have any breakage when assembling (no glue needed either).

  • Connect the side bars to the top bar by orienting the lugs at the back (with glue)

  • Assemble the whole on the floor (with glue)

Feel free to comment if you had any problems with printing or assembling, as this is the first time I've posted a slightly more complex pattern.

For all these parts, by increasing the scale, you will be able to adapt them to larger characters.
