3D model description

Supports for Z-axis stabilizer bars of the Sidewinder X1 3D artillery printer

Functional and attractive looking, they are designed for 12 mm diameter aluminium tube, length 580 mm.

Assembly instructions:

  • The parts are held in place with the printer's own screws, three screws for each part of the base and two screws for the upper part.

  • Once the bars have been cut to 580 mm length, the edges at both ends must be sanded to facilitate insertion.

  • The bars enter approximately 17 mm into the holes. For reasons of printing accuracy or tolerance of the bars used it may be necessary in some cases to sand or scrape the inside of the holes so that the bars enter smoothly.

  • The bars can be drilled and screwed in with threaded bolts to improve the hold.
