3D model description
Sony e-mount body cap.
Initially designed for a laser sintered print, this does print well on FDM printers too (see print setting notes).
v2: just the e-mount body cap.
v1.3: has a compartment and lid to put a small desiccant pouch (as found in lens boxes) to keep the camera sensor moisture free.
3D printing settings
FDM: May look best printed face up, with support, however if your print bed leaves a reasonable finish, printing face down (as in the photo) uses less material and is likely to print a better E-mount.
PLA: 20% infill or more recomended. Layer height .2mm or less
(Cura: 90min, 6.42m/19gms, .2mm layer @ 60mm/sec. face down is much quicker )
