3D model description
This model is a Ratchet Joint that can be printed in one piece. This gadget utilizes a flexure mechanism to create the ratchet effect.
Simply print the model, remove from build plate, and flex the model to loosen the joint. You may have to use force in order to loosen the joint for the first time.

The Print-In-Place robots are specially designed for 3D printing. They feature articulated moving parts that print simultaneously, and fully assembled. Simply print the robot design, then pop the finished part off the build plate, twist the joints to free them, and you are ready to go with a completed moving robot.
