3D model description
Here is a rubber band gun inspired by the Mandalorian's Blaster pistol. I have included several options for printing. The functional part of the gun prints in place. The grips barrel and other features can be printed separate in different materials, or if you have a big enough printer it can all be printed at once.
3D printing settings
Layer Height 0.2mm
Supports: Yes FROM BUILD PLATE ONLY
If you can do custom supports, remove the supports shown in the picture as they are unnecessary and difficult to remove.
If printing on an Ender 3 or similar sized print bed rotate 45 degrees.
-Sand the layer lines off of the rotor for smoother operation.
-Tolerances are .3mm between moving parts
- Ensure you have no stringing or it will gum up the moving parts.
-Print in the orientation it loads in, (tilted 25-35 degrees from vertical towards the top of the gun.
