3D model description

(Edit) Increased tolerance of blade to eliminate blade friction on some prints. Shouldn't cause any looseness.

Addition: Better Pins! These lay flat and are much stronger and easier to assemble.

Simple Heavy Trainer for practicing butterfly knife operation.

Heavy weight allows for great practice.

Easy assembly and disassembly for modification and interchangeability.

Over-Engineered for your enjoyment.

Already have many other models based on the same design, that will have interchangeable parts with this model.

3D printing settings

My setup:
Anycubic i3 Mega (cheap fabricator has no trouble)
0.4mm nozzle
Heated bed
Hatchbox 1.75mm PLA filament

Print settings:
190 C filament
55 C Bed
Initial layer height 0.3mm
layer height 0.2mm (recommended between 0.1 and 0.2mm for pins)
Initial layer speed 15mm/s
Speed 60mm/s
Wall thickness 0.8mm
Infill 10%
Print adhesion: skirt
no support material or raft required

Not as important details:
To save time on the print (depending on your setup) I had no trouble at 63mm/s speed and a layer height of 0.3mm, but the pins were difficult to insert and retract with many times one failing on the print or falling apart after print.
