DJI Mini / Mini 2 RC Adjustable Phone Mount

Searched everywhere for an adjustable phone mount for my DJI Mini 2 RC and really didn't have any luck, always something that didn't work and didn't want to pay for expensive ones. The biggest problem with most RC phone mounts including the built-in clamp they can't hold phones without having to remove the protective case and also some thicker phones won't fit snug.

I have designed this for phones without having to remove the protective case and fits snug with pretty much any size phone/case. I wanted to use a standard action cam mount as you can use this on your bike if you want by just downloading a free bike action cam mount. The backplate which is the part that clips onto the RC, you'll notice a few things on the plate:

• the top 2 notches are stoppers to prevent it from sliding out sideways
• the bottom notches is designed to push/slide the backplate into the RC mount easily with both your thumbs
• the 2 side tabs are to easily slide the backplate out of the RC using your index fingers (push up and then out)

• the 4 rectangular slots are to rest your usb/lightning cables in (see photo)

• The action cam mount is perfect as you can adjust the phone angle without having to use a separate sun shade most times. This way your not changing the natural angle of your RC, just the phone viewing angle only.

** The ONLY thing you might need is a longer USB cable, they are cheap, I bought a 12" once because I also use my tablet with this RC from time to time and I didn't have to keep changing out cables. The DJI just barely fits with this mount so it might work fine with your phone.

I have included all STL files separating the individual parts and also the STL file for the entire mount pieces.

I printed mine with these settings:

.20mm layer height
4 wall line count
15 - 20% Infill (Triangles)
Support (Touching Buildplate setting)
4 line Brim for Adhesion
