DJI Digital FPV Goggles RapidFire Analog Module Adapter V2

3D model description

All proceeds go to ShareTheMeal. This is 1.60€ from each sale (0.40€ is fees from Cults3d).

My approach was to get the analog module on and off quickly. All the solutions I found did not quite convince me.

As you can see on the pictures, you can slide the module on and off. The connected cables fix the cover, and the RapidFire module is not attached to the pins only.

Open for suggestions and criticism.

You need 2 x M2 4-6mm Screws

UPDATE (31.02.2020):
I add one STL (DJI Part 5 SMA-Ring) to the package, this Ring needs to be printed in TPU. The SMA-Ring helps to make the Antenna stiffer in position.

3D printing settings

PLA, 100% infill, 0.1 or 0.2 Layer height (up to you).
TPU for the SMA-Ring

  • 3D file format: STL

I'm waiting for the updated version that corrects what pinchtune in the comment below says

Hi, so I bought and printed this yesterday. VERY good. One of the best designs for this I've seen so far. I do have two suggestions for improvement. 1. I think the box itself should be about 2mm deeper I had to remove some of the rubber bits on the RapidFire so it would fit in there, and it's still VERY tight. So much so that it's hard to press in the connectors. Having it a little deeper will also allow the edge of the URUAV adapter to rest on the walls of the box. 2. Consequently, the spacer that looks like a Lego piece could be about 1-2mm less tall. It was pushing the unit basically out of the box. One thing I would suggest is adding 3M VHB extreme double-sided tape to the flat side of the spacer so it will stick to the RF and help support it and the URUAV unit. For that, the spacer would have to be 4mm less than it is now (if the box is 2mm deeper, otherwise just 2mm less). I achieved that by grinding mine down. I have some photos of it on my Instagram @pinchtune.

What is part 4 used for in the print?
