How I Designed This
The idea was to make a new housing for the old Mpio ML300 mp3-player which had a broken battery holder cover. Then I found a couple of 2W / 4Ohm 3" speakers and I thought, why not make a bicycle stereo since the using of headphones is dangerous. Then I thought of using the 18650 battery from the old laptop battery to power front and rear lights as well. And then I decided this player should be easily detachable since leaving electronics attached to the handlebar outside is not clever. I've gone through several iterations and several sleepless nights before the final version was printed out. So I'm glad I'm done with this project.
The housing contains:
the player itself with a DIY printed board power source (AMS1117-1.8);
18650 battery with a holder;
PJ002 power socket; TP4056 charger;
2x slide switches;
2x RCA sockets.
